There’s plenty of open space and toys for kids, so it works well for families too. The owners are lovely, and they know the best places to visit nearby, including Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar producers. It’s a great base between Bologna and Modena, with an incredible view. We’ll be back soon.

Nico made us feel at home from the start, always happy to answer a question, or even ask one if we didn’t have any. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with thoughtful details, and breakfast was good. I also enjoyed some delicious local wine. Borgo Stanzano sits on a hill with beautiful views and nature all around, while charming villages and attractions are still nearby. The road is partly unpaved, but it was perfectly passable. It’s a peaceful, authentic place to stay. We’ll definitely return. Five stars don’t feel like enough. Saluti Sander

The view and rooms were fantastic, and the whole place felt enchanting. We were there with another couple of friends and two newborns, and everything worked out perfectly. We felt right at home. Relaxing in the sun, with good wine and great company, was just what we wanted.

We had a lovely New Year’s Eve here and feel lucky we found the place. The owner and his wife were kind, friendly, and ready to help with anything, though we didn’t run into any problems. They gave us privacy while still being nice to chat with.
