It’s handy for both the arena, about a 5-minute drive, and the airport, around 15 minutes away. But as someone who travels a lot for work, I’m surprised it has a 4-star rating. The hotel really needs a full overhaul to bring it up to date.

I had a negative impression of the hotel, including the very poor breakfast. What really stood out was one staff member’s unacceptable behavior. She didn’t understand English at all and spoke to me in a raised voice, almost shouting, when I said, “I need to pick up my luggage,” from the other breakfast-serving hall. She was very rude and even tried to push me with her hands. Photo attached.

The restaurant was nice, the rooms were pleasant, and the wifi worked well. There’s free parking and it’s easy to reach by car. It worked well for seeing an event at Unipol Arena, less than 30 minutes on foot, two train stops, or a few bus stops away. Bologna is also reachable in about 30 minutes by train, and there’s a bus too.

The hotel was pretty decent overall, but I had some issues. There’s no balcony in the rooms, and staff take pictures while you’re away. The room cleaner also moved and hid my belongings. Put the “Do not disturb” sheet on the door to avoid these unpleasant incidents.

My room was above average, but the bedding and towels were stained, the toilet was dirty, and the showerhead was rusty. The food was mediocre, reception staff unfriendly, and staff went through my personal belongings while I was out. Public transit in the area is pretty undeveloped, so the location was terrible. Overall, a bad experience.
