The cove is a lovely place to swim, with tidal pools full of shells, and the stars at night are so bright you’ll want to stay awake. Eventually, I fell asleep to the waves. It’s a secluded spot close to nature, where I could really slow down. The staff were friendly and gave personal service, and the fresh fish dinners were great. There’s also an onsite dispensary with wonderful locally cultivated product. It’s easy to arrange excursions or walk to nearby water holes. The resort feels intimate, without the usual hustle, and was a fantastic escape for a vacation in Jamaica. Thanks to Taj, Maurice, and all the staff!

The cove is great for snorkeling, and there’s plenty of gear, plus kayaks and paddle boards. The staff are warm, helpful, and can arrange rides and excursions. Food was delicious, too. It’s an easy drive to Negril for a day, afternoon, or evening, and nearby sites include the blue hole and Bob Marley mineral springs. Such a peaceful hidden gem. I’ll be back to the beach again and again.

It was our second stay at coral cove, and we’d gladly return again. Even after the hurricane, we had electricity, hot water, filtered water, and wifi, which had been concerns when we booked in an affected area. The rooms are all different, each with its own cozy, unusual style. We were welcomed warmly, and the team found ways to handle all kinds of requests, including fishing trips and excursions. The food deserves a mention too: vegan options, freshly caught fish, lots of variety, and lovely service. We could use the pool, sea, and beach, and there were kayak tours as well. We were there doing relief work in westmoreland and couldn’t have picked a better place. Big up the whole team!

A fishing trip with Nate the Ocean Hunter was a real highlight. We had laughs out on the water, salty air, and a genuine island adventure that felt personal and unforgettable, never touristy. Coral Cove is also close to Negril, so Little Bay stays peaceful while beaches, cliffs, and other outings are only minutes away. The resort itself is quiet and uncrowded, with ocean views, fresh air, and room to relax. Going with my best friends, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, and everything was spotless and well kept. It’s a beautiful place to recharge, with kind people and special experiences. I’m already dreaming about going back. 💛

The peaceful setting and natural landscape were just what I needed for my 50th birthday and the new year. There are only around 20 rooms spread among the villas and cottages, with no huge cookie-cutter buildings or parties. I spent three days there without leaving, reading on a hammock or lounge chair, listening to the waves, and enjoying the sun. I felt safe leaving my door unlocked and my belongings where they were. The beds were possibly the best I’ve ever slept in. My cottage and the ocean-facing room they first put me in were both nice, though I had to figure out that the cottage shower was outside. I arrived late after a long trip from the States, and the driver, Keno, took two hours from Mobay because the roads were in bad shape after Hurricane Melissa. The ride was comfortable, and owner Steve greeted me with muffins and cookies since I’d barely eaten. My cottage wasn’t ready, so they gave me a large room called, I think, Starlight, up a wooden spiral staircase, then moved my things the next day. I met owners Steve and Margaret and their family, guests from the US, Canada, and England, plus people doing humanitarian water infrastructure work after the hurricane. The place has an intimate feel, and the owners’ grandchildren loved Shavin and Nathan. Staff were kind and helpful. Shavin mostly worked at the bar, and she’s funny, professional, and a sweetheart who made sure we were looked after. The chef, Maurice, and his sous made breakfast to order, with lunch and dinner served buffet style. Aside from some confusion, the food was delicious: fish, rice, soup, greens, curry goat, and the Jamaican dish saltfish and ackee, which I loved. Ackee looked and tasted a bit like scrambled eggs, though it’s a fruit, and came with callalou and fritters or lightly fried dumplings. Some things still seemed affected by hurricane recovery. The POS system was down, and the acting “manager” Taj’s communication was awful and felt close to shady. He seemed unsure what he was doing, perhaps filling in for Dianne. Nobody told us food or drink prices. Advertised options like the psychedelic journey, free yoga, and dispensary weren’t available. My first breakfast was cold, watery eggs, toast, and a toaster that didn’t work. Wifi only worked near the main building through Starlink. It improved a little later, but I was still charged $13 a day for spotty Verizon travel pass service. Steve was there working alongside staff, fixing the seawall and putting up shade sails. When another guest and I raised our concerns, he did what he could to make things right. Beautiful and serene, though still working through some issues. I’d still highly recommend it.
