Fun Holiday Beach Resort

I wanted to make my usual video showing the route from the entrance to the beach, with no rooms or private areas, and to highlight the beach access. I had every intention of presenting the hotel positively so more people might come. Instead, I was told there was a strange policy against taking any photos on the property. Even after I identified myself and showed my work ID from a reputable institution, the manager treated me like a scammer. I don’t usually focus on negative experiences or small issues, but this hit me hard. I don’t think I’ll ever come back or recommend the hotel after this.

The place is very run down, and the owner seems not to care about either guests or staff. The food was always cold, alcohol choices were very limited, and the beer was warm when there was any. The staff were very nice and helpful, doing what they could with the supplies they had.

The rooms need renovation. Even if you don’t expect to spend much time in them, the pillows and sheets are dirty and dated. The owner should invest in those things, because with minor upgrades this place could be booming. Outside the rooms, we had a great time: the location is right on the beach, with a hostel-ish vibe, and there’s lots of entertainment on the beach day and night. Staff and location were excellent, service was great, and the food was fresh, homemade, flavourful, and delicious. We barely ate outside the resort, and there was plenty of variety. At least we ate good!

STAY AWAY, YOU BEEN WARNED. This was my second visit, and it’s my last. It’s definitely not all inclusive. Most days there was no beer, ice, or vodka. Breakfast was at 9am, lunch at 2pm, and supper sometimes not until 830 pm. The food was repetitive and never hot. You’d better get in line, because once it’s gone, it’s gone. Worst experience I’ve ever had.
