We got great value for the price at Jamaica Tamboo Resort. The staff were warm and friendly, and both the room and shared spaces were clean. The AC was wonderfully cold and the hot water properly hot. The on-site coffee shop serves the best cup of coffee on the island. Highly recommend.

Mixed feelings about this one. The location was great and the room was clean, but I felt a bit sketchy there as a solo traveler. The door was difficult to lock and had a gap, there were no blackout curtains, and the room had just one lightbulb for a light. Kind of odd. There was no safe either, which sucked. For the price, I guess it's okay, but next time along mile I'll pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

The location was great, and we loved being able to step straight from the room into such a welcoming place. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant, bar and cafe face the 9mile ocean beach front. We only booked one night, then added a second because we wanted more beach time. The rooms smelled and felt clean, the AC was amazing, and the price was great. Big thanks to the staff, we felt right at home.

The beach is right outside the door, and the location makes it easy to explore Negril. The rooms have been nicely updated. Staff were awesome, the food was great and the price was amazing. Will definitely come again.

For the last 7 years, this locally owned resort has been my home away from home. You're steps from the ocean, with excellent food, eye opening coffee, a great Tiki bar, and staff who feel like family.
