Columbus Heights Apartments

To the STRATA Management, we are writing about the motorbike stolen on July 24, 2025. We had already reported the incident, but since there don’t seem to have been any preventative steps, we no longer feel secure living in Columbus Heights. The police have been informed, but we’re still concerned that residents and their property aren’t being adequately protected. Our monthly rent as tenants includes provisions for vehicle security, and that protection no longer seems to be provided. This is a serious issue, and if it isn’t addressed, prospective residents and the wider public should be made aware of it. We respectfully ask the Strata to act urgently to improve security at Columbus Heights, so residents can feel safe and the promised standards are upheld. I loved how green and natural the surroundings were, which suited me as a big plant person. The location is great, close to everywhere, though those hills gave me a workout. The caregiver was really pleasant.

The room was clean, with a great view from K1, and the private patio, kitchen, cable TV, and WiFi made it good value for a quiet stay. The property felt private too. The condo furnishings were worn and dated, though, and there was a trail of ants coming from the light switch by the door toward the patio. We only got towels and hand soap, no other toiletries. Don’t expect hotel or Airbnb extras like a hairdryer or tea. Also, be ready to walk uphill.

The views were the reason I stayed here. I had a car, but still walked up and down several times, and the walk wasn’t too difficult. The condos may differ, so I can’t speak to them. We had some noisy neighbors, though it wasn’t anything awful.
