That bath and shower deserve a 12/10. After days of sipping cocktails by the pool and doing nothing, I loved having a soak. The views are stunning, and I had a wonderful time. The buffet was good, with a decent range of choices each day. The rooms have a colonial look that some might call dated, but the TV and AC worked fine for me. They must put something in the food because I ate, slept, relaxed by the pool, then ate again, LOL. The team were kind, attentive, approachable, and helpful throughout. Check-in staff arranged early access to our room and a late checkout. There was a birthday banner on the door, lots of compliments, regular checks on guests, and a room upgrade with a view. Everyone on site was positive and welcoming. I've heard hotels can treat local guests poorly, but I had a fantastic time. As soon as I spoke patois, I saw them soften and become so helpful. I never saw the bottom of my glass. Big up the bartender by Las Olas bar and our wonderful check-in lady. Bahia Principe Luxury gets mixed reviews, but I'd say come try it for yourself.

The people at Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay made my vacation unforgettable. Daven, aka Spicy D, from guest experience brought warmth, energy, and genuine care every day. He went above and beyond to make guests feel celebrated. Rachel served us with such kindness and attention to detail, always smiling and making sure our meals were just right. Leroy was professional, attentive, and ready to accommodate us. Shakira mixed some of the best drinks I've ever had and brought fun and creativity to every evening. From the moment I arrived, the service exceeded expectations. My stay was amazing, and thanks to this team, I'll be back and recommending the resort to friends and family.

I first visited with friends on a day pass, and really wanted to return. When I came back two years ago, the property was still beautiful and well maintained, just as I remembered. The staff were polite and excellent, the amenities all worked well, and we enjoyed the meals every day. I checked on a future stay and was surprised to find the property unavailable. I hadn't heard it had closed. Is it likely to reopen in the near future?

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Everyone on staff was great, but Akeem Whitaker really stood out. We had reserved dinner on the beach, then the weather changed unexpectedly. He found us another location and kept the service disruption to a minimum. His attitude was positive, with good old-fashioned customer service. Mr Vinton, the manager of the romantic dinner experience, was also exceptional. He clearly cares about his staff and their experience, as well as ours.
