Villa Sonate

It’s a small hotel, but they make you feel like family. The food is amazing, and having access to the private beach is a real plus. The staff are superb and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable.

The food was really nice, so big up to the chef. Everyone made the stay feel special, from Naisha, Caprice and Dewade at reception to Andre and Kimonie handling meals, and Elizabeth, who helped me sleep even better the next night 😁. The service from the whole team was excellent. I’d recommend this place to anyone after a quiet vacation where everyone feels like family. 5 stars team 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

The pool was cloudy, and management’s response left us frustrated. We booked because the listing said they had power. The first night was fine, but on the second night both backup systems failed, leaving us without air conditioning, water, or internet, the very things we’d booked for. When I asked for a rate adjustment for that night, I was told they weren’t responsible for power issues. I understand they can’t control utility outages, but they took no responsibility for their own power system failing. It felt like a typical “we have your money now” response.

The receptionist was amazing and looked after us from the beginning right through to the end. Chef’s kiss, five stars!
