Hawa Guest House

The rooms are very basic, just about suitable for sleeping, not for hanging out or relaxing. They only provide a tiny roll of toilet paper, barely enough for one use, and no bath towels, so you have to buy your own at a store. The location is perfect, though. If you need a cheap, basic place to sleep in downtown Amman and can do without towels, this is the one.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and both hot water and toilet amenities were available. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, in Al Balad. Our rooms were only okay and need better housekeeping and cleanliness. We also had water issues during the stay because someone had left the taps running. There were no carpets or rugs in the rooms or outside the toilets.

The counters, floors, bathroom, even the sheets were dirty or stained. For what it costs, there are much better places to choose. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. I won’t return and wouldn’t recommend it.

The location in the city center is amazing, but the rooms and bathroom were very dirty. The sheets looked as if they hadn’t been changed, and everything was dusty and unclean. We were on a budget and didn’t have another option, but I can’t recommend this place.
