Jerusalem International Hotel

The food tasted like frozen meals that had just been reheated, and the rooms were old and dusty. My sink leaked, and we were given a spoiled kettle that was never replaced despite asking. The shower was dirty, the toilet was atrocious, and the blankets were dirty, with dust all over the mattress, almost like someone had swept it under the quilt. This was horrible and overpriced, and I hated every part of the stay. It would've made a great one-star hotel. Whoever gave it a four-star rating needs a wake-up call.

We were 56 tourists staying here. The rooms were nice, but they hadn't been cleaned before we moved in. There were used soaps and papers in the bathroom, and the pillow still had ladies' hair on it, with the pillow cover not even changed. Giving us an uncleaned room was totally unacceptable. Also, the digital key mistakenly opened another room, which caused confusion and a confrontation.

The staff and service were great, but the hotel itself was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it. My room felt like an oven, and I was told the AC wouldn't be turned on until May 1st, which was a bummer. In the morning, I checked the towel before touching it and thankfully saw traces of blood. Reception replaced the hand and face towels, but after my shower I checked the big towels too. One had black hair pasted onto it, and the other looked 10 years old, covered in fuzzy lint. I dried myself with one of my white undershirts instead. I found another hotel and moved to the Marriott for 25 more dollars. The Jerusalem Hotel shouldn't be more than one star, and I'd give it that only because of the staff. When the staff came to clean the next day, they uncovered the pillows, and they looked horrible. The dirty pillowcases covered a 10-year-old pillow that looked dark yellow, with nasty spots. I took pictures of the towels and pillow covers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

The food is average, and cleanliness is the only good thing here. I've been here almost 6 hrs and I'm fed up with the Wi-Fi. It has range on all floors but only works on the ground floor. The electrical sockets don't work properly either. Staff can speak English, so communication isn't a problem.
