Lancaster Hotel Apartments Dahiat Al Rasheed

The smell from the bathroom was so strong it reached the room, and we ended up changing hotels just to get away from it. I would have rated the place higher otherwise. I hope they find a way to fix it.

I booked after checking with the receptionist in person the day before. I explained my situation and was told there'd be no problem, so I felt confident making the reservation. When I came back the next day, another receptionist ignored what we'd agreed and said I had to take two rooms. He brushed off my explanation, saying the previous guy was “new and doesn’t know what he’s talking about.” That left me dealing with the consequences of poor communication between staff, which shouldn't fall on a guest. The rude response and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. Staff need serious training and customer service needs a major improvement. I won't return, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who expects clear communication and respectful treatment.

The location is great, and the room was spacious. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were lovely, always smiling and checking whether they could help. Housekeeping and room service were available on request. The rooms could use hair dryers and a few other small things, but I still highly recommend staying here if you want peace of mind.

I found tiny ants in the master bedroom and asked to have it cleaned, but they didn't really show up afterward. The rooms are otherwise clean and spacious, and it's a nice hotel. I'd definitely recommend booking here.
