The room was filthy, dusty everywhere, and had a hole in the ceiling. We stayed just one night, and I couldn't bring myself to shower because it all felt so unhygienic. When we arrived, reception was empty, so we had to call someone who worked there. When he finally came, he tried right away to charge us more for the room we had already booked. He said there was no card machine and wanted my partner to go with him to use one outside the hotel, in a nearby alley at night. He strongly urged me to stay behind, which felt suspicious. Once I said I would go too, he changed his mind and said he could bring the machine to us. The man at reception the next morning seemed polite, but what happened the night before really shook us. We felt nervous about the rest of our trip in Jordan.

The setting is beautiful, but the place itself is a disaster. Rooms and sheets are filthy, bathrooms are broken, blankets smell, and the old towels are dirty too. Customer service is really bad, there’s no coffee, and breakfast is terrible and doesn’t start until 10 am. Nobody comes to help, and the play area is broken. It’s expensive for such bad service, and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give.
