Arab Divers

I first stayed here for four nights in 2023, then came back in 2025 for diving. It's a great base for enjoying Aqaba and the Red Sea dive spots. The instructors are professional and look after the diving environment. On one dive we collected a full bag of plastic. I'd be happy to return if I get the chance.

Four years later, I had an issue with my original PADI registration, and Arab Divers sorted it out wonderfully in no time. Absolute heroes! This place feels like divers' heaven in Jordan. Everyone is so helpful and friendly that you feel at home right away. They're always happy to chat and flexible about dates, dives, and other things. We did a try dive with Obada, then changed all our plans and stayed to take the PADI Open Water course. Our instructor Mick was amazing and showed us the wrecks and reefs while we got certified. The rooms are nice and make a peaceful place to unwind. Housekeeping is friendly, and breakfast is extensive, healthy, and vegetarian. I'd definitely come back for more. :)

Our four-day, three-night stay was great. I was really happy with the dives, rooms, and food, and I'd highly recommend this place. It's better than a Hilton, and I'm a Hilton honors member. For diving, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. That distance keeps you off the main road, away from traffic and construction noise. I'm picky about rental gear, and theirs was in good shape. The dive guides know their stuff. If you haven't been diving in a long time, I'd strongly suggest a refresher course so you don't hold the group up. You're expected to know your gear and get going. Go with a dive guide, too. There's plenty to see and things you shouldn't touch. There are several room setups for solo travelers or groups. We had a big king size bed, and housekeeping came every day and changed all the linens without me asking. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and they'd make eggs to order. There's also a restaurant open from 12-9pm for after diving, and the Wi-Fi was very good. If you're staying a while, I'd get some supplies from a liquor and grocery store beforehand. The hotel doesn't sell alcohol, though Aqaba has many liquor stores. There's also a resort 2 miles away with restaurants, shisha, and bars. Give my review a thumbs up if you found it useful. :)

It's a modern, clean, safe, and comfortable place, with prices around €60 that are very reasonable. Check their website for diving package specials. They run courses and arrange transfers to the area's incredible dive sites for every level. A perfect base for diving in the Red Sea.
