Diamond Palm Hotel & Resort

The location works well if you want the nearby beach, just a 3-5 minute drive away. We didn’t try walking because you have to cross the highway. The pools seemed clean, and getting pool towels was easy. Staff were friendly overall, and the room was large, clean, and had plenty of space for our infant’s travel crib. From our room, the view was mostly dirt mounds, with the Red Sea behind them. Dinner was a letdown. I’m pretty sure it was frozen food reheated. The pizza and hamburger were edible but bland and flavorless, so I wouldn’t recommend eating there. We skipped breakfast after that, so I can’t comment on it. On our first night, it took five calls to the front desk to get extra towels, and the towels that arrived were wet. We seemed to be the only guests, which felt a bit creepy. I’d probably choose somewhere else next time. Solid 2.5 stars, rounded up generously.

We loved the location for snorkeling, with everything within walking distance, and the hotel was brand new and very stylish. The rooms were big and quiet, the beds were great, and breakfast was the best of our backpacking trip. Staff were friendly too. There’s a small usable gym, a couple of pools, and free parking spaces. The location listed on ‘Booking’ is wrong, the correct address is the one here on google maps. Highly recommended. We’ll try to come back for 2-3 days before our flight home.

A peaceful spot away from the bustle of the city, with excellent pools and a new, clean, shiny hotel. The staff are kind and nice, and breakfast is delicious and varied, with something new each day. A real diamond in the desert if you’re looking for some quiet and pampering.

It was a relaxing, enjoyable stay, and we appreciated everything. The service was excellent, with staff who were always kind and respectful. Breakfast was good and nicely arranged. The peaceful location is near the beach, and the rooms were clean with beautiful views. It felt more like a resort, with four consistently clean, well-maintained pools, including one for kids. The small gym, jacuzzi, and sauna were a great bonus.
