Yafko Hotel

The standout was the receptionist, who was kind and attentive to guests’ comfort. When we asked to have the TV checked, the staff member responsible was in our room within five minutes. Daily cleaning made things feel fresh. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the rooms were spacious and clean, with excellent furniture and a great bathroom. The hotel is easy to find, right across from the Jordanian flagpole. Staying here was our best experience in Aqaba.

For what we paid, this felt like a complete rip-off. The air conditioning barely worked, so the room stayed hot and uncomfortable, and the customer service was awful. The staff were rude and showed no interest in helping or welcoming guests. One of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Avoid it.

The staff paid close attention to details and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Our spacious room was beautifully decorated and equipped with the amenities we could need, and the hotel had a fantastic view and a spa area where it was easy to unwind after sightseeing. The location made it simple to reach popular attractions and restaurants. It was a top-notch stay and worth the price.

The location and the amazing view were good, and the receptionist was so kind and gave us many recommendations we needed. We’re very thankful to him. But the hygiene made this the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in, even though maybe we were just very unlucky. The room was very dirty, especially the extremely small bathroom, where it was hard to do anything. The old shower had nowhere to put shampoo or shower gel, and nowhere to hang toilet paper. Warm water ran out while I was showering and washing my hair, so I had to finish with cold water. The water pressure also kept coming and going. The window wouldn’t close properly either, one side opening whenever I shut the other.
