Ajnadeen Hotel

Everyone was so helpful and friendly, and the service from the whole staff was fantastic. I had a spacious, charming room and a very comfortable bed. The team were the most friendly and accommodating people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting!

The room service was very poor, and there was smoking everywhere. I had to ask for towels, there was no toilet paper, and there were insects. It’s cheap, but not worth it. Pay more and get something better.

The rooms are very large, though dated, as I expected. The staff worked quickly and hard to clear a clogged shower drain, and the stay was decent and good value overall. My issue was having to show marriage documents. That turned check-in into a 45min mess. This was the only hotel in Jordan where I stayed that required them.

We had to find another hotel late at night after the receptionist refused to honor our reservation. My colleague and I were travelling to Irbid for business and called from the south of Jordan to book two single rooms. The receptionist was rude and said we couldn’t share a room, even after my colleague clarified that we wanted separate rooms. We confirmed the booking, said we were on our way and would arrive later that night, and asked about parking. Hours later, when we couldn’t find the parking and called again, he told us they hadn’t kept our reservation. He said that, in his opinion, we planned to share a room, which isn’t allowed by Jordanian law. He gave no other reason for refusing us and was extremely rude. This whole exchange was over the phone; he hadn’t met us or learned our personal details, such as our gender or age. I don’t recommend this hotel because of the extremely rude and biased personnel.
