Mövenpick Resort Petra

The staff were attentive, caring, and so friendly that we felt welcome throughout. Muath N. was especially kind and looked after us in the bar, restaurant, and lounge. The massage service was wonderful, and both the food and bar options were excellent. Rooms are modern and comfortable, with all the amenities, and the location is right by the Petra Visitor entrance. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Keep up the great work!

The room temperature was the one thing that kept this from being a perfect stay. Our room, M11, was very hot. The front desk said it was a central issue they couldn't fix, so they brought a fan. Opening the window helped, but the noise was too much. Other people in our group also said rooms on the mezzanine and first floors were too warm. Everything else was lovely. The hotel is beautiful, well located, and the staff were great. Yahya in the restaurant was especially kind and made me fresh ginger mint tea. The chef showed me the vegetarian choices, helped my friend find gluten-free food, and even made something extra for her. We ate all our meals there, and the hotel shops were fun to browse. At lunch, though, there was some confusion because drinks and the buffet had to be paid for separately.

The buffet was a highlight: fresh, tasty food with plenty of choice, all nicely presented. My room was very clean, comfortable, and well arranged, and the hotel as a whole felt spotless. The welcome from the staff was warm from the moment I arrived. They were attentive, professional, and happy to help throughout my stay. I left very satisfied and would gladly come back. I recommend it for the clean rooms, good food, and kind service.

Clean, roomy guest rooms and a shower with great water pressure made the stay comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel is conveniently close to the Petra site and museum. The meals were tasty, especially breakfast. It felt elegant and a bit royal, but still affordable.
