Martian Camp

It's a laid-back, no-frills camp with a traditional Bedouin feel, unlike the newer high-end space camps popping up around it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, and the location is far from the town lights and other camps. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. If you're up for it, climb the mountain above the camp for amazing views, especially at sunset. Animal lovers will also find two lovely furry friends, a cat and a dog, to keep you company by the campfire.

A lovely, authentic place to reconnect with yourself in beautiful surroundings. The food was great and the service was 10/10. The owner's dog is super sweet, definitely give her a hug when you visit. The jeep tour was really nice too, and Ahmad gives you plenty of time to enjoy it.

Everything was wonderful. It's a very nice place to spend a night in the desert, and Ahmad has lots of stories about the stars and Bedouin life. Thanks!

We had a great stay at Martian Desert camp for two nights at the end of December. The bungalow with a private bathroom was a very good choice, and our room was clean and comfortable. Since we had two young children, they offered us an extra heater. There was plenty of tasty food. We especially liked the rice with dried fruit and the traditional dish cooked underground. The common room was a pleasant place, with a heater, board games, musical instruments and free tea all day. The shared bathrooms and toilets were also comfortable and clean. We enjoyed both our one-hour camel ride and half-day jeep tour. There was no internet and the cell phone signal was very weak, but for us that was a plus. We really recommend this place to anyone wanting a great time in Wadi Rum desert.
