The hotel feels old, and some rooms have a strong smoke smell. Music plays in the hallway until 21:30, and the walls are so thin that napping before then is tough. The pillows are a little better than the average Japanese brick, but still really hard. There was also an alarm set for 6AM on the built-in clock. Luckily I was already awake from sleeping badly, or I’d have been angry about it.

The bath was nice and hot, and there’s a sauna. Breakfast was okay, and the hotel was worth the money, but for a place rated three stars, I think two stars is more fitting. Everything was okay, nothing special. The facility is old, with some renovations. I have a disability, and the place wasn’t disability-friendly. For example, there were no railings on the stairs.

It’s about a five-minute walk from Abashiri station. There’s a public bath if you want to try it, and you can go in the provided yukata and slippers.
