Rose Lips Shinsaibashi - Adults Only

My wife and I hadn’t realized this was a “love hotel”, so we were a little surprised at first. The room was the biggest we had in Japan, and the hotel was very clean and quiet. The toilet, shower, and Jacuzzi are in separate areas. The location was great too!

The central location made our stay enjoyable, and all the staff were kind, accommodating, and spoke English well. They couldn’t do enough for us. Each morning they called our room with breakfast, and the coffee was really good. There are fun extras, including karaoke machines, really big TVs, and Jacuzzi baths. When the air conditioning failed and we were boiling, staff moved us to another room straight away. One odd thing was that there was no key, so we had to call reception whenever we wanted to go in or out. It was a pain and made us feel a bit locked in.

I called because I wanted to book and had a question. I asked if anyone spoke English, then asked in Japanese if they understood English. They hung up before I could finish my sentence. I called back, and they immediately hung up again. Nobody said anything. Edit: Please don’t lie about it. The staff hung up both times, and I’m no longer interested in staying because of how rude they were. Take responsibility for the terrible customer service. Other reviews describe this happening too. It’s so unprofessional. Do better. 🙄

The room was great, with plenty of space, fantastic beds and a fantastic bathroom. The location and service were great too. It’s a love hotel, but it was probably the best hotel I stayed at in Japan. A previous review said guests didn’t get a key. That information might be outdated, since I got one and had no trouble coming and going. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Osaka.
