The rooms and location are pretty ordinary, but if you need to stay in this area, this is a good option. The staff are kind and helpful, though they don’t speak much English. The main highlights for me were the massage chair in the room, which gave a pretty good massage, and access to the nearby public bath. You have to walk 3 to 5 minutes to get there, but it’s worth it. Towels are provided, and you can change there, so there’s no need to bring anything. The entry process can be a little confusing the first time, though people are around to help. Breakfast is quite good for a Japanese hotel. For an evening out, the nearest station for the new shuttle train is only a few minutes away on foot, and Omiya is about 10 minutes from there. There’s plenty to do in Omiya.

We spent two weeks here and would happily recommend it. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. The onsen is lovely and fairly large, just across the street. The new shuttle runs to Omiya every 10 minutes, and the hotel is great value for the money.

Nice place, and I enjoyed the breakfast. I only gave it three stars because we had to walk to the onsen, which isn’t inside the hotel.

A good place to stay.

The shower was the main letdown. Some holes in the broken showerhead were blocked, and the strong water pressure left my sensitive skin red. The water also swung between too hot and too cold, while the temperature on the dial didn’t seem to match, so it was hard to adjust. The shower curtain smelled moldy. If those things were fixed, I think the hotel would be even better. The room, shown in the photo as a twin, was bright and had a large table that made it easy to work. Both the room and bathroom were thoroughly cleaned, and there was plenty of space for my suitcase and other luggage. I felt comfortable, and there was even a massage chair. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and upgraded me to a great room because one was available. Parking is free. The station is close, about a seven-minute walk, but restaurants and the downtown area are farther away, so the location isn’t ideal. There’s a hot spring facility about five minutes away on foot, and it seems guests can enter for free. It seems like a good place to stay if you want to enjoy the hot springs and other facilities. I’d recommend it to business travelers, couples, families, and everyone in between. It was a good hotel.
