Getting around was easy, with shops and transit close by, and the rate worked well for a couple of days exploring the Mt Fuji area. The hotel has an older feel and a nice onsen. Our room turned out to be way bigger than it looked on the booking site.
Dinner had a local feel, and there was an onsen at the hotel. A good place to stay.
For a fair price, this is a good pick if you want an old-school Japanese room with the wooden sliding doors you see in anime. I’d especially recommend it around the end of winter.
The staff were really friendly, and I’d like to stay here again. There seemed to be quite a few guests from overseas. The hotel is old-fashioned, and while the large public bath felt small, I could still relax in it.
It was quiet at the hotel and the price was good. The rooms were nice, and the onsen was pleasant. The setting by the lake was beautiful and peaceful.
