The best part was being able to rent a bicycle for free, on a first-come, first-served basis. The location is perfect, with plenty of space and all the facilities you need.

For my ski trip to Nekoma Mountain, the location right in front of the station was handy for getting around. At 6,600 yen with breakfast included, it was reasonable. There are izakayas and other places nearby, but I couldn’t find a restaurant, so dinner is better eaten at a place in Aizuwakamatsu city.

The hotel is close to the station, and it wasn’t crowded, so I could relax. The bath facilities are old but clean, and my stay was comfortable. I’d have liked sponges for men to wash with. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was homemade and delicious, without that odd mass-produced taste. Renting a bicycle was convenient for getting around. I think it’s a really good hotel.
