The onsens were huge and mostly well kept, and I liked being able to slow down and enjoy the stay. The hotel is quite dated, somewhere between a hotel and motel, but most things are maintained well by Japanese standards. The room we got was especially large, bigger than the others. There were lots of buffet choices, though the food was just so-so. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, and the room had a heater but no air conditioning. Both our SIM cards were very slow in this remote area, which made planning the trip difficult without Wi-Fi. The hair dryer was a bit old and slow too. I hope they keep up the good work and make some improvements.
