Dot Glamping 赤穂

I came back because I had a good time here last visit, but this October stay was disappointing. The second Sunday of the month is apparently the autumn festival at a nearby shrine, with drums at midnight and again just before 6 in the morning. The dome has no soundproofing, so the noise carried right into the room. The festival itself can't be helped, but I wish the website had warned guests in advance. I was hoping for a quiet weekend. Staff seem to vary, too. The woman who helped me last time was friendlier and more pleasant. Take care if you're planning to stay in October.

Some of the toilets are quite far away, which was a downside. The rooms are clean, but the sun is so strong that you'll need to keep the curtains closed. The bath is just a regular bath. The sauna area is in a great spot, and the water temperature was just right, though it would be better if something could be done about the strong evening sun. For barbecue, you can use the provided grills and borrow seasonings. It's convenient to arrive without supplies, but could disappoint if you want to cook over charcoal. The place has sauna and barbecue facilities, and I'd recommend trying it at least once.

Having the staff wash the dinner utensils was a huge help, and they even washed the ones I brought from home. Thank you so much! I felt at ease because everyone was kind. Adding the official LINE ID at check-in made it easy to ask questions. The bathroom and toilet were inside the front desk area, and the toilet was incredibly clean and free of bugs, which was a relief. Baths were assigned first come, first served, with a limit of 3-4 people and no more than an hour. I never had to share with strangers, and the water was kept clean. Check-in ran from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and checkout was at 10:00 AM. I had a really fulfilling day. Thanks to all the staff!

My husband and I came back again, and we've used the facility several times a year. Some of the staff recognize us, which makes for a comfortable stay. I also stayed here once before with my children, and I think it works well for singles, couples, and families. I'll book again in a few months.
