Hotel NOA - Adults Only

I stay here pretty often because the location is great and it's good value. The parking underneath the hotel is quite small, so I suggest using the lot in front instead. Remember to take your parking ticket with you, since reception needs it when you leave.

It was a really unpleasant experience. The male employee had a terrible attitude and hung up when I called to check out. My request for a two-hour break wasn't passed on, either. He was incompetent.

There's a waiting room, and the parking lot can be entered from either the front or the back. This place seems popular with delivery services. Most of the cars parked out front are delivery shuttles, so if you're waiting, do it around the back. It's a nuisance. It seems possible to stay overnight, but I think a business hotel near the station would be much more comfortable. I'd probably use this place for a break if I had the chance.

The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was roomy and clean too. The layout was unusual, with the hallway door on the right and the bed, toilet, and bath on the left. A partition separated the bed from the hall, and it did a good job blocking noise from neighboring rooms. There was some sound from above and below and from outside, but it was quieter than other hotels I've stayed in. That seems to be its biggest strength. I paid ¥5,500 for the business plan. Check-in was at 6 PM and checkout at 3 PM. There's no water server. The shower was broken, spraying sideways and hard to turn off. The indoor air conditioning was an old freestanding commercial unit, not a regular air conditioner. It kept stopping and starting, and the noise when it did was quite loud and bothersome. The staff were a bit rude. They rang a bell when bringing food and when coming in or leaving, but didn't say anything like "excuse me" as they entered or went out. Since not all guests were regulars, I thought the bell meant service pickup and hurried to the entrance several times. It would be better to say something like, "We'll leave the food for you." After I ordered, they called to ask which set meal I wanted. The item names on the table menu and the TV menu didn't match, so I couldn't tell whether the options were the same. If they needed me to choose, they should have explained the different names or fixed the menus. As it was, being asked to pick from the set menu didn't make sense because I couldn't tell what I was choosing. The food also took a while. Including the phone call, I waited about 12 minutes for a draft beer set. The fried squid that came with it was delicious. Maybe set meals take time to prepare, but this seemed to take much longer than at other love hotels or business hotels, even though I assume some of it is prepared ahead. I didn't use it as a love hotel, and kept that in mind when rating it.
