The hotel was right in the city center, with shops, restaurants, and sightseeing spots nearby. It was easy to get around on foot or by public transport. My room was spotless, cozy, and a comfortable place to return to after walking around all day. The facilities were in great shape and available 24 hours, which made it easy to get what I needed, even when coming back late. The front desk staff were always there and friendly and polite whenever I passed. My Japanese is limited, but check-in and questions went smoothly, and I felt relaxed and safe traveling alone. ART HOTEL Aomori was honestly the best hotel of my trip around Japan. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Aomori.

The service and rooms were lovely, and the complimentary apple juice was the BEST! The decor on the first and second floors looked amazing. I wish I'd had time to try the restaurants, they smelled so good.

The breakfast was delicious, and the local shops and train station are within walking distance. The rooms were a bit small, and one of the two sets of pajamas had a stain. For a place that calls itself an 'art hotel,' it felt a bit soulless.

At AOMORI BOLD KITCHEN(Aomori Bold Kitchen), Art hotel aomori, Aomori, a standard room with breakfast was about 19,000¥. The buffet included with the room was hearty and focused on Aomori seafood. The sashimi spread was generous, and the hotate in miso, grilled scallops with savory miso, was especially good. A great breakfast before exploring Aomori. Seafood fans shouldn't miss it. 🦪🍣😋 #AomoriEats #HotateMiso #SashimiBuffet #ArtHotelAomori #BreakfastGoals”

I'm here for three nights and need to keep working on my laptop, but our room is so tiny, with a small window and nowhere to set up to work. The front desk suggested a nearby coffee shop. I tried to eat, pay, and work in the hotel restaurant, but it was full for the evening. I was also told the empty restaurant downstairs was off limits. Do better, Art Aomori. I'm still staying here, and nothing has been done to help me find a table where I can work. The restaurant says seating is limited to 40-50 minutes, too.
