The room was spacious, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here in summer. There was no air conditioning, and in this scorching heat it was extremely difficult. There hadn’t been any mention of that, so perhaps I was wrong to assume there would be one. We had to open the window and use a fan, but the room faces the main road and the noise kept me awake until late. Nearby streetlights attracted lots of bugs, and some rooms don’t have screens, so you can’t even open the window. The bath also drained poorly. Check-in was difficult too, because the number in the email was wrong.

There were lots of useful appliances in the spacious, easy-to-use room, including a refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, microwave, and toaster. Check-in and the other steps were simple even though the place was unmanned. The entrance door was very basic, and while it blocked some outside noise, sounds from guests upstairs using the stairs and talking came through clearly. It could be less comfortable when the building is noisy or other guests are around.

The room, called Hoshizuki, had a stylish, fun interior that felt completely different from the outside of the building. It was spacious, and I had a very comfortable stay. I’d like to stay there again!
