The sofa bed in our room was covered in mites, and all three of us ended up with bites. My eight month old had bites all over the exposed parts of his body after playing on it. The hotel's hygiene was excruciatingly bad. I've been to Japan five times and never had a terrible experience on my travels until now. This is the first time in my life I've made an official complaint to hotel operators.

The food at the hotel was amazing, and the rooms met my needs and then some. I came last year in summer, and while the view was better, I regret not coming in spring because my skin condition got worse. That didn't ruin the stay, though. These are my thoughts after a year of reflection. ~29/6/24

The rooms were not clean at all, 0/5. There were dust mites on the sofa bed and the air vents were covered in dust, and I spent the whole trip suffering from dust allergies. The pillow was a small, flat one filled with beads and had no cushion, so it was extremely uncomfortable. Do not stay here.

I stayed in the women's capsule section as a solo traveler, and it was perfect. The location is great, down by the beach. The bath area is beautiful, with baths both indoors and outside, and the private bath was amazing and had everything you need. I'd definitely stay again.

The room had beautiful ocean and surrounding hill views, and was about the size of a small apartment. This is a good onsen hotel across from the beach, with a very nice onsen, sauna, and rotemburo. Breakfast and dinner are buffets, both excellent, with plenty of sashimi and shellfish.
