The view was great, the room very clean, and the food fresh and high quality. The staff were patient and very friendly. Driving is the best way to get there.

About two hours from Tokyo, we stayed with our dog at a glamping place and chose the bed-and-breakfast option. It was quiet among the sea and mountains, and we could relax without worrying about anyone seeing us. Our trailer house was clean and comfortable, with a bed, sofa, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and its own dog run. On the spacious terrace there was a BBQ grill and a spot for a bonfire, so we could spend a really luxurious time surrounded by nature. The terrace on top of the trailer had exceptional views too. The wide-open scenery was so relaxing. The dog run was split into large-dog and small-dog areas, which felt safe and secure. Our dog had the run to himself, dashed around to his heart's content, and seemed to have a blast. We could enjoy both the sunset and sunrise from here. It made the stay feel special, and it's a wonderful place I'd definitely like to return to.

The view in daylight was spectacular, as was the night view. We were a little concerned about cold and wind on a mountaintop, but it wasn't too cold on our mid-November visit. With the campfire going, we could even wear sweatshirts. Our room was a little small, but just right for three of us. The reception building had plenty of supplies, with extra food and drinks for sale and board games to rent. Camping with a six-year-old girl can be worrying, but glamping made it comfortable. We could have a campfire and cook outdoors, then sleep indoors, with toilets and showers available. Just before checkout we spotted that extra firewood and other items could be ordered on the room tablet, which seems really handy. And with such lovely scenery, walking around is enjoyable too.

We had such a satisfying glamping stay, with great food and time in nature. Dinner was a barbecue around the bonfire, and the meat and seafood were even better than we expected. Fresh off the grill, everything was surprisingly fragrant and juicy. Just sitting together by the fire made the evening feel special. There was a sauna too. Going in after warming up by the bonfire was exceptional. Breakfast was brought to us the next morning, and we had fun making it and eating at our own pace. It was a fun escape from the ordinary.
