Rembrandt Hotel Atsugi

There are toiletries, bath items, slippers, and razors available. The hotel is beside a busy street with lots of restaurants, and it’s an easy 10-minute walk from Hon-Atsugi station. The serious problem was that they never replied to my emails about the booking and payment. You might arrive and find you have no room because they didn’t respond.

The breakfast buffet had both Japanese and continental options, and the room service was really good. They provide the necessary amenities, and it’s easy to get to the main hubs of hon-Atsugj. A great fit for a short business stay or a family gathering. Highly recommended.

I’ve stayed here twice on trips to Atsugi, and the rooms have been clean each time. The staff are courteous, and the breakfast is excellent, with a large selection that includes proteins. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the train station, a little farther than some other hotels, but still manageable. I’d prefer a softer mattress, though firm ones seem to be the norm in Japan.

The breakfast was very good for a few days, but it was pretty much the same each day, despite Japan having such a huge variety of food. I was there for three weeks and booked a room with a kitchen, but there wasn’t even a plate in it. They only provided very basic items when asked, nowhere near enough to cook with, so I don’t think they should offer that service. The hotel is big and close to the main station, restaurants, and shops. The other upsetting issue was that my personal Cologne went missing from the room. I contacted the staff, but they didn’t do anything. Of course, it’s my word against theirs. Very unfortunate.
