La Terrasse Awaji

We had a wonderful stay. The garden was spacious and lovely, with room for the dogs to play off leash. The building was clean and roomy, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large terrace with a great view.

Great place to stay, and the owner was friendly.

We stayed as a group of ten, including family and relatives. The gas stove, floor heating, and air conditioning kept us warm, and there were no nearby houses where our noise would bother anyone, so we could talk and play games late into the night. From the wooden deck, we could see planes arriving at and departing from Kansai International Airport right in front of us. The only trouble was working out the lock on the bedroom balcony door. I wish it were easier to figure out.

The Forest building had great views, and the rooms were all nice. But wasps attacked us during the barbecue and ruined it. My dog was stung, which was awful. It seems they've taken steps to deal with the wasps, but they still won't go away. There were no outside lights at night, so it was pitch black when I went out to smoke. I probably won't stay there again.
