The staff were kind and helped with our luggage, and we had a good stay at the standard Oedo onsen. Our room had enough space and a shower, though we used the public bath instead. It felt dated but had a classic atmosphere. Both the indoor bath and the outdoor baths were a good temperature. Dinner and breakfast had a decent, typical Ooedo onsen selection. The downside was that wifi only worked in the lobby. The shuttle schedule was also inconvenient: the train arrives at 15:47, but the bus leaves at 15:45, so you’d have to get there an hour earlier.

Not very English-friendly. It felt like a real Japan experience from the early 80s, old and dusty, though clean. Honestly, I wouldn’t bother. I’d skip it and find somewhere better. Wifi only works in the lobby, and there’s no mobile reception in the rooms.

Maybe 3.5 stars, or 3.75. It’s still a nice discounted onsen resort, though not as good as the other two Oedo hot springs I’ve stayed at. The baths were clean and pleasant, but not luxurious. The restaurant had the usual things you’d expect, except soy milk. I visited during a steak fair, and the steak was easily the best dinner item.
