Beppu Tabiyado Sainokou

Fresh air and beautiful scenery made waking up here feel special. The hotel is surrounded by nature, far from the city’s noise and rush, with a peaceful, refreshing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The food was another highlight. Everything we tried was fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor, from simple dishes to more special ones. The staff were very friendly and ready to help, which made the stay welcoming and comfortable. There were also lots of international students around, giving the place a lively, diverse, friendly feel. A great choice for a relaxing getaway and reconnecting with nature, with good comfort, warm hospitality, and amazing food. I’d definitely recommend it.

The private onsen is huge, with indoor and outdoor sections, and room for four or five people. The room was very spacious too. Check-in usually ends at 6 pm, but we called ahead and they were flexible with us.

The owner was so kind he even drove me to pick up a cell phone I’d lost. Make sure you arrive during check-in time and he’ll take care of you. My whole stay at Beppu Yuya was a 10/10: large, comfortable rooms, a great bathroom, and having a private onsen of my own was incredible. When I come back to Beppu, I’ll stay at Beppu Yuya again. After the busy pace of Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, I found Kaizan incredibly relaxing. It’s quiet and peaceful, and having my own onsen made it one of the most relaxing stays I can remember. The place is a little out of the way, which is part of its appeal. You’ll need to take a cab into Beppu for dining, but the staff were great about calling one for me every evening, and there are plenty of restaurants downtown. I’m a very happy customer. Bring a good book!
