I had a reservation for 6-16-25 but never received the check-in email, so I couldn’t get into the property. They didn’t refund my money. I can’t believe a Japanese company could be this incompetent. I’ve never been screwed over by a business in this country before, it was totally shocking. In person, it looked like a dump anyway. I’m from Las Vegas NV, USA, and I’m used to quality service. Cocolie doesn’t have that at all.

Fresh air, clean rooms, and convenient transportation. I slept soundly all night.

The room was very good, but getting inside took a long time. We were stuck outside trying to work out that the entrance code requires pressing the big A button before entering the numbers. We also went to the wrong building because the location shown in the picture wasn’t the actual location.

We’ve been waiting outside the hotel for an hour. We can’t reach anyone, and we never got our room code.

After contacting Booking.com, we got a refund, but we still had extra costs from having to book another hotel, and we lost our evening. Very frustrating. We couldn’t get into the building because no check-in details arrived, and there’s no reception. The phone number didn’t work, so we emailed and eventually got the PIN. A man who lives in the building couldn’t help either, and said this had happened to other people before. There’s no information or contact details posted anywhere, just the owner’s name inside. The building is two doors down from the advertised location, so it’s a bit hard to find. The owners did reply quickly to our emails. If you don’t have a PIN, email them and wait 30 minutes.
