There are four bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room, with the Beppu ocean right in front and a nice view. The interior is beautifully maintained, probably because the owner has put a lot of care into it. From the outside, though, it looks like a shack made of planks. It’s on the outskirts of Beppu, in a spot where you might wonder if there’s really any accommodation there. Getting around without a car could be difficult, and downtown is about a ten-minute drive away. Since it’s an old plank shack, the house is cold, and running the heater makes it dry. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a large family.
