Coro Coro

The room was very comfortable, and breakfast was a simple Western-style meal. Sitting by the window and looking out at the view made it relaxing. It's a three-minute drive to central Biei. There was just one staff member, an elderly lady, and she was incredibly kind. She only knew a few basic English words, but was happy to communicate using a translation device and never seemed impatient. The toilet and bathroom are shared, with just one bathroom, and it closes at 10 PM. That could be inconvenient when there are lots of guests.

The grandmother was very kind, and the Shiba dog was adorable. I stayed on June 25th, and the room was pleasant overall. The stairs are quite high, so carrying luggage upstairs could be difficult if it weighs more than 20kg. There's only one shower room, so in peak season it's probably best to shower a little earlier. I think it's worth recommending, since there are few accommodations close to BiEi's main attractions.

Breakfast was great, and I was really comfortable during my stay. The friendly host and her cute pet Coro made the place feel more like home.

The courtyard was cozy, and Shiba Inu Coro came out to greet us. Inside, the guesthouse felt like home and was very relaxing. It seemed to be a converted old house, with a modern exterior that still had a nostalgic touch. I don't speak Japanese, but talking with her through my daughter let me feel how warm and thoughtful she was. I'd like to visit again if I get the chance.
