It's lit.

We had a great stay of about three weeks. The place feels like a spacious apartment, especially by Japan standards, and having two full bathrooms came in very handy. It was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed, laundry machine, and dryer. Parking was free, and the location worked really well for exploring or working around Chatan. Since it was a long stay, we had all kinds of questions, and customer service was kind and quick to respond. They even lent us a vacuum so we could keep the place tidy. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend hotel Flap!

The most useful feature for our family was the washer and dryer. It was a Rinnai gas dryer, and it dried a few bath towels, underwear, and pajamas in about 30 minutes. We used New Beads detergent, which includes fabric softener. The kitchen had cutlery, dishes, cookware, a rice cooker, and a microwave, so cooking at home was easy. The sponges were new and very clean. The large, fluffy sofa was a hit with the kids, and the Wi-Fi worked without problems. We came to Chatan for the Chunichi Dragons' training camp, staying with four adults and one child. There was a separate queen-size bedroom and two twin bedrooms. A sliding door let us split one twin room in two or leave it as one room. Each room had air conditioning, four units altogether, so every room was comfortable. Tissues and a trash can by each bed were handy. The queen room had its own toilet, small sink, and shower, which could be useful for privacy, such as when traveling with in-laws. There was also a separate bathroom area with two sets of sinks, toilets, and bathtubs. At night, especially on weekends, we could hear some biker gang noise. It didn’t bother me much, though it was loud, and I suppose it comes with the location. They provided earplugs just in case. The staff were very kind and even emailed after checkout to thank me for leaving the room clean. I’d definitely use their service again. Thank you very much.

I’m glad I stayed here and would like to come back on my next trip to Okinawa. It’s very clean and has almost everything needed for daily life. If you plan to cook, bring your own seasonings, as none are provided. There are pots and pans, plates, and cutlery in the drawers under the sink, along with dish soap and sponges. There’s no water filter, so you’ll need to bring drinking water.
