They let me check in early, which feels pretty rare in Japan. The beach is a bit far, but the room was clean and spacious, with a balcony, kitchen, and all the necessary amenities. You do have to rent forks and plates, maybe because tourists tend to break them.

The location is great for food and walking to American Village, but I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Staying longer than 7 days means moving rooms throughout your stay, and they don’t always move you on day 7. Sometimes it was after 5 days, sometimes 7, and the new room might be on another floor. Packing and shifting everything several times gets frustrating. Parking costs extra and isn’t very cheap. They also sometimes change the elevator entry password without telling you, so you have to use your room key. That part isn’t a huge deal by itself, but with all the room moves and changes it really adds up. This was the most frustrating place I’ve ever stayed.

I had a great time and will definitely book here again. The room was cute and clean, and the building is brand new with plenty of affordable parking. Staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke great English, which was useful since I barely know any Japanese. There’s a farmers' market across the street, and convenience stores and American Village are close by, with lots to visit around there.

The cost performance is great, and the room was clean and tidy. It’s an average size for a Japanese apartment, in a fairly new apartment-style hotel in a newly developed part of Chatan. At check-in they give you codes for the main entrance and your room. The walls are very thin. I could hear someone in the next room yawning in the morning. Around 7am, there’s also a loudspeaker from the US base that you can hear.
