The hotel is visible from Chigasaki Station, about an 8-10 minute walk, and there are elevators along the way to help with luggage. Restaurants are all around. Check-in and checkout are quick through the machine, which gives you two keycards. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We could open both of our XL suitcases, as long as we were a bit resourceful and not too fussy about space. Breakfast is free and really good, though it can get crowded. They refill things when needed. The area felt safe for walking around at night, possibly because it’s near city hall. Towels are changed every day, and bathrobes and amenities are available at reception. They also stored our luggage safely before check-in. For cost and convenience, this was much cheaper than staying in Yokohama or Kamakura, just a train ride away.

The room was fine, clean but small, as is usual in Japan. Breakfast was a terrible experience. Food ran out and people were lined up waiting for more. The coffee was gone around 08:40, with no refill, and all they said was sorry, in a friendly way. Why is it so hard to refill the coffee machine? The hotel’s notice said coffee service ran until 10:00. They didn’t keep their promise.

We could see Mt Fuji from the room, which was lovely. The hotel is close to the station, though the beach is a 30+ minute walk away. The room was a little larger than standard Toyoko Inn rooms, and everything was super clean. We had a nice short stay, with great service and lots of choices at the free breakfast.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place was clean and well located, and I'd happily stay here again.

The bed was comfortable, and the compact room had all the basics I needed. The self check-in and check-out machine made things quick and saved time. Nothing fancy, but it worked well for an overnight stay.
