Staff were very rude to my wife. They said hotel policy doesn't allow family members to visit a guest's room, but that rule wasn't shown anywhere during booking. They did make a point of explaining that tattoos aren't welcome in the onsen. The hotel is the only one near a maternity hospital, so I imagine family visiting new fathers isn't unusual. My wife was treated as if she had suspicious reasons for being there, when she was simply a new grandmother visiting her son after the birth of his first child.

I stayed one night, from December 20 to 21, 2025. It wasn't very busy when I was there, whether because of the location or the season, and I had a comfortable stay. The single elevator wasn't an issue, and breakfast was smooth too, though that probably depends on when you go. The facilities are a bit dated. There was a closet but no sofa in the room, which is fine if you're only sleeping, but makes having a drink less comfortable, lol. The public bath was smaller than I expected. From the parking lot you can also see what looks like the remains of a hotel, which is creepy, though there's nothing they can do about it. I'm satisfied otherwise. Breakfast was really tasty, so if your plan is just to sleep, bathe, and eat, it should be fine.

I arrived Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 3:49 PM for one night. I have work in Sakuragawa City, and this was the only nearby place. There were two of us, but they only had semi-double rooms and no doubles. Breakfast was included, and the facilities were good. The hotel was clean.
