Hotel de Winds

We had a short getaway and got together as a family who usually live apart. Since we were the only guests, they may have upgraded us to a larger room. We appreciated the thought. The couple were calm and polite, and helped us figure out a walking route for the next day. I highly recommend the inn. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, as others have said. We had a full Western course with both fish and meat. Their collection of jugs for serving Limbling's liquor and water as a chaser was lovely too.

The wife is lovely and the husband is handsome. They struck a great balance between being attentive, chatting warmly, and giving helpful advice. Our Western-style room was simple and comfortable. The unit bathroom was small, but that made sense for the price. Both dinner and breakfast were Western meals, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

The food was delicious, and I left completely full. The inn is run by a lovely couple. It's been open for 40 years, so the building is a bit old, but the windows were sparkling and the cleaning was impeccable. It was a wonderful place, just as the reviews said.

The inn has a lovely European-style interior, and the bedroom was roomy and comfortable. From the window I could see the Yatsugatake Mountains and Mount Fuji in the distance, with a beautiful sea of clouds in the morning. The meals were colorful, tasty, and just the right size, both at night and in the morning. I arrived by motorcycle, soaked and exhausted after riding in the rain. The owner quietly helped dry my clothes, helmet, and other things in the drying room without complaining. I'm very grateful. The owners' personalities really come through in their hospitality. Thanks to them, I had a wonderful trip, and I'd like to stay here again.
