I came all the way to Choshi, but the food was disappointing for what the stay cost. There wasn’t even any meat, and the sashimi was only mediocre. The view from the bathing room wasn’t good either, since sea breeze had left the window glass white and foggy. The view is part of what you’re selling, right? Service felt overly cut back, with Corona used as the excuse. Even giving it a hundred points, guests may still be dissatisfied without complementary services. I came away thinking the hotel was overrated.

There’s a long history here, and some well-known writers have stayed during their travels. The accommodation feels traditional while still being modern, and its location gives you a splendid seaside view from the easternmost part of the Kanto Region.

The food was good, though I wish it had left a stronger impression. The place itself is quite nice, with very clean rooms, lovely bathrooms, and astonishing views.
