We chose this place because its plan advertised a buffet dinner, with Italian and Asian dishes so guests could choose what they liked. We were the only guests, though, so there was no buffet. There were plenty of dishes, neatly presented, and dinner felt lavish, which kept us satisfied up to that point. The cold Chinese eel was the exception. Even I can cook Chinese eel so the skin turns crisp. Breakfast was a whole lineup of things that seemed to be frozen or ready-made, and even the yogurt was ordinary store-bought yogurt rather than a local Daisen product. The unlimited ice cream and candy were tasty, though, and I sometimes used the ice cream to make up for not eating much. We weren't charged extra for having it. Since we were the only guests, it felt good from an infection-prevention point of view. We also enjoyed having the billiards table and soccer table game to ourselves. Our room had no toilet, bath, or refrigerator. The room that sleeps 12 had a ladder, which the children enjoyed, so despite its age, that part was good. It cost more than the Yukai Resort we stayed at the next day, but we were much less satisfied. It felt like a simple lodge for ski guests, and the actual place was completely different from the image on the website. I've traveled a lot, but never stayed somewhere that differed so much from my expectations. It was a memorable experience.
