Hotel Route-Inn Takefu Inter

I was in town on business from Osaka and found the area around the hotel dark, with few shops. It's a bit of a walk from the nearest Shinkansen station, though I suppose you can't expect city life in the countryside. My single room wasn't especially big, but it was well kept and clean. The communal bath wasn't particularly large either, but it was clean and easy to use. I also appreciated the square desk and outlet, which made working on my computer easy. Breakfast was included, so the stay felt satisfactory.

The free breakfast had enough variety, especially compared with places where you pay for it. The hotel was new, clean, and well maintained. The indoor outfit was a jinbei-style garment that tied at the front, with sleeves and trouser hems ending around 8/10 length.

The breakfast sides were the same standardized dishes wherever you went, and I think it would be more enjoyable with at least one local specialty. I stayed by myself and liked the modern, open design: the room felt roomy for a single, and the large public bath was spacious. The bath water was lukewarm, but still warmed me up, so it wasn't an issue.

The front desk readily let me move my car under the covered entrance when it rained the next morning, which was a real help. I stayed after work while heading to Kanazawa, and the hotel was convenient because it was right by Takefu Interchange. It was clean, and the service felt very pleasant.
