We slept really well here, thanks to the comfortable beds. The bathroom was super clean, the tap water was fresh, and hot water was available. There was also a nice spot to sit outside. In the morning we could hear birds singing and see a Sakura tree from our window. It’s a peaceful place in a quiet area, away from busy hotspots but still close to lovely nature and a town with shrines and forests. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. I recommend it, 5/5.

20230828 - If you’re into Japanese architecture, this place is well worth a visit. The hotel was made by renovating an old Japanese house, and the owner has maintained it so well that it looks fantastic. It retains most of the original Japanese design while adding a modern bathroom system. The staff are super friendly. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Fuefuki. Highly recommended!

The owner is friendly, but the location is really out of the way. It’s a big shared house with several other people, something that wasn’t mentioned when I booked. It can hold up to 20 people across 5-6 rooms, with a few shared toilets. It isn’t cheap for that kind of communal setup. No towels were provided, so you have to bring your own. I don’t recommend it.

A very unique Japanese house, with surroundings like a traditional Japanese botanical garden. The staff are Taiwanese, very kind and approachable, and introduced us to good places to visit and foods to try in Yamanashi.
