Hotel Tono

Since hotels around Nagoya were too expensive, I traveled all the way here。Crossing the intersection by the station is a little inconvenient, but the hotel is conveniently right in front of the station。The hotel is old, but I think it is properly cleaned。There is a microwave near the front desk。The price is low, so I would like to stay here again。

The price was so low for a hotel right across from the station. The man at the front desk was accommodating and changed my booking from a non-smoking room to an available smoking one. The room felt a bit old and wasn't in the best spot, but it was fine for sleeping overnight, and it had all the basic amenities. One thing, the mat in the unit bath sometimes gets unexpectedly soaked.

It's a clean, reassuring place, even though it feels like a Showa-era hotel. The station is right outside and easy to find, with supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. For longer stays, replacement amenities are left on the doorknob, which makes things simple.

Having a guide in the room explaining when cleaning would be done was really helpful. The hotel was right beside the station.
