The staff were attentive and polite, and the room was clean with decent space for three. The ryokan had all the amenities we needed, and the food was above average. My one complaint was that the same sashimi and tempura were served at every meal. I don't know why it gets bad reviews, but maybe they took them seriously and fixed the issues, because I had no problems.

We came with around 280 people on a college tour. Keeping service quality high with a group that large must be difficult, but I think they did their best.

The spa water was wonderful, and we stayed in the bath for ages. This was a birthday trip with the person I love, and the staff gave us great service, including a birthday cake. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Thanks to everyone at the ryokan for such an unforgettable memory.

The dinner was the worst Japanese-style meal I've had in Japan, and the service was just as bad. The older woman didn't seem to care about us when we chose not to drink their liquor. We were staying one night, but could only use the onsen for an hour after the meal. What kind of five-star service is this, as they call themselves? It's a shame for Japanese hotel service. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

The place feels old and needs an upgrade. The breakfast was very good, but there were some odd surprises. Outside food isn't allowed, and if you put a drink you bought from a nearby Lawson in the fridge, you have to take it out or the fridge gets remotely locked in the morning. The toilet and bath are split into separate areas, which is a weird design, LOL.
