The inside is astonishing, with a Japanese house-like feel, waterfalls, a koi pond and indoor and outdoor onsens. It felt magical. Everything was so clean, and the staff were really nice and helpful. The rooms are traditional, and we won’t hesitate to return. They can pick you up at the station in a free shuttle and take you back, too. It’s free, on demand and immediate, so you don’t need to wait for more customers or follow a schedule.

A cozy, very traditional hotel, with small traditional onsens and views of Mount Fuji in the distance. A solid place to stay the night, especially if you’d like to try sleeping on tatami mats.

It feels like being back in the 1970s, and the spa is too old to enjoy. There was no electric device to clean up after using the toilet. I clearly can’t recommend staying at this hotel.

The food was great, and the room was spacious and comfortable, with a seriously good mattress. The onsen was great too. It made my skin feel very smooth and seemed to help with redness. They also offer a baby bath and baby sit in the onsen!

The room was nice, with tatami and a tea corner. The indoor and outdoor onsen pools are big. Best inn in town.
