There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and when the weather cooperates you can see Mount Fuji from the corridor, though the rooms don’t face the view. The service is good, but the hotel is a bit far from the subway station and seems better suited to local travelers. I wouldn’t recommend it to overseas visitors unless they’re prepared to take a taxi.

Good value, and parking is free. There are three elevators and three washing machines. My room didn’t face Mt Fuji, unfortunately. The interior feels a bit dated compared with other APA hotels in Tokyo and Osaka.

An affordable, nice hotel in Fuji. The nearest bus stop is a 10-15 minute walk away, so with big luggage I’d take a taxi. I’d booked through “booking” for about 10K Yen, but somehow they didn’t understand that I already had a reservation, even when I showed the confirmation. I ended up cancelling it quickly, and they gave me a room for 6000Yen.

The hotel has an indoor bathing house, though I didn’t have time to use it. There’s a convenience store right downstairs, several places to eat nearby, and parking costs just 500 yen a night. It’s about an hour and a half by car from the five lakes, so it could be an alternative if that area is booked up or too expensive. It’s an older hotel that’s been revived by the APA chain. The staff service and spacious rooms make up for the age.
